Exciting opportunity for experienced Records Sentencing Officers, required to assist in a project within the State Government

Our client is offering you a great opportunity to join a project within their team. This project will see you working up to 38 hours per week. The roles will be working 5 days a week Monday to Friday for the duration of the project and we require reliable and dedicated operators to join their team.

Our client is seeking applications from people who have worked in a records role before. It is essential that you have an eye for detail, can work at a fast pace and can interpret data to a high standard, and can hit the ground running!

The main duties and skills required for the role include:

- Must have record experience
- Undertakes a range of information management activities in the provision of corporate recordkeeping services to support the departments business needs
- Data Entry
- Ability to interpret disposal schedules
- Sentencing, listing and boxing on-site files
- Provides advice and support to the business to ensure recordkeeping
- Practices meet the departmental objectives and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Update statistical information
- Assist in creating and closing files
- Other tasks as instructed by supervisors

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Demonstrated skills and experience in providing administrative support services to busy and complex teams and well-developed judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, especially when dealing with the general public.
- Records Management experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel experience - ability to sort and enter data
