The company has around 7-9 funds with close to a billion dollars under management across well performing and well managed portfolios of Real Estate Assets. Leading a team, the role will work closely with Senior Executives in firm.
Job Description
Fundraising and Capital Raising:
- Collaborate with the senior management team to develop and execute fundraising strategies for new investment funds.
- Identify and engage with potential investors, pitching investment opportunities and promoting the firm's track record and investment philosophy.
- Prepare marketing materials, pitch decks, and due diligence documents to support fundraising efforts.
- Coordinate roadshows, investor conferences, and other events to showcase the firm's investment strategies and attract new investors.
Investor Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential investors, including high-net-worth individuals, financial planners and advisors, institutional investors, family offices, and other stakeholders.
- Act as the main point of contact for investors, addressing their queries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Provide regular updates and reports to investors regarding the firm's performance, investment activities, and any other relevant information.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and communications with investors to promote transparency, build trust, and strengthen relationships.
Investor Education and Communication:
- Proactively educate investors about the firm's investment strategies, market trends, and industry insights.
- Organise and conduct investor meetings, webinars, and seminars to provide updates and educate investors on investment opportunities and potential risks.
- Respond to investor inquiries regarding fund performance, investment strategies, and portfolio companies, providing accurate and timely information.
Relationship Coordination:
- Collaborate closely with the investment team to understand the portfolio companies' progress and develop comprehensive investor communication materials.
- Build and maintain relationships with external industry associations, consultants, and other relevant parties to expand the firm's network and attract potential investors.
The Successful Applicant
- Extensive experience in investor relations, fundraising, or related roles.
- Candidate with background from private equity and venture capital industry preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a diverse audience.
- Exceptional relationship-building and networking abilities.
- Proven track record of successfully raising capital from individuals, fund houses, financial planners.
- Have had Team Leading experiences.
