Your new role
This permanent full time opportunity will manage a diverse high-performing team of 8-10 team members. Your role as the Branch Manager is ensure you are equipping the team with the knowledge and capability to give their customers the best experience, consistently! With every interaction, you are guiding the team to provide the best experience and ensuring the right product and solution has been provided at every point.
You will be responsible for building a strategic plan, coach and train the team across bank products and policies, assist in business development activities whilst driving the branch footprint locally.
This position is absolutely vital to the Wollongong region and the broader branch network.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the branch and fostering a positive customer service experience
- Assisting your team in identifying personal & business lending opportunities to each customer's situation
- Coach and train the team where necessary
- Be the escalation point for complex customer queries
Your skills and experience
- Excellent customer service experience - whilst banking & finance is ideal, we are also open to management from retail, hospitality, and other industries
- You will have the natural ability to bring the best out of your team, natural leadership quality with a resilient approach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills should be second nature to you
- You thrive in high volume and fast paced environments
- You've previously worked towards KPIs and targets
