Job Description
- Develop a comprehensive project plan, including scope, schedule, budget, and resources required for successful project execution.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to project team members, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Monitor and control project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial objectives are met while minimizing cost overruns.
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Respond effectively to unforeseen challenges that may arise during delivery phase.
- Prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders, detailing the project's status, accomplishments, challenges, and corrective actions taken.
The Successful Applicant
- Tertiary education in the relevant field - Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management
- Experience in the public service (desirable)
- Experience project managing a construction project end to end
