About the Role
As a Registered Nurse you will be responsible for providing quality clinical care to patients. You will develop and maintain patient care plans, liaise with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide co-ordinated patient management, provide assessment of patients and co-ordinate outpatient and inpatient treatments.
To be successful in this role, you will have:The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA).A current Sexual Health and Family Planning Australia Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health for Nursing or equivalent.Minimum of 2 years full-time Post Graduate experience within the previous 5 years in a sexual and reproductive health nurse role (or part time equivalent).Authorised Cervical Screening Test (CST) Provider; CST Credential and Certification of the Credentialed Course for the appropriate State/Territory (note: if a State or Territory does not offer Authorised CST, Certification of the Well Womens Screening Certificate through Family planning Australia, or equivalent, is required for CST providers).Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA.Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
About Williamtown Health Centre
Williamtown Health Centre is located 30km north of Newcastle at RAAF Base Williamtown, Australias premier fighter pilot training base. The base is one of the busiest in New South Wales, employing over 4500 people. The key functions of the Health Centre include primary health care, psychology, physiotherapy, and dentistry. Williamtown Health Centres standard operating hours are 0730-1530 Mon-Thurs, and 0730-1430 Friday.
