Warehouse Shipping ClerkSouth Eastern suburbsFull time roleWarehouse Storage DistributionOur international customer is looking for an experienced Warehouse Shipping Clerk who will be responsible for managing the warehouse inventory and all other functions related to the general up-keep and well-being of the warehouse contents.
In addition, the Warehouse Shipping Clerk will be responsible for unloading and inventorying new equipment and parts, performing pre-delivery inspections, picking, and packing of both parts and equipment shipments, loading equipment onto transport vehicles, and processing these shipments accordingly.
This individual is also responsible for monitoring and implementing improvements to continually enhance customer satisfaction levels, the goal being to increase parts revenue.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesPull, pack, load, un-load finished goods (equipment) and parts on/off transport vehicles for customer deliveries and warehouse receiptsBook transport of new equipment to end-userInput parts and machine sales shipments into the companys (ERP) softwarePerform general house keeping of the warehouse/stockroomPerform pre-delivery inspections of new equipmentCrate machines as necessaryPrepare demo kits for the sales teamMaintain inventory of shipping suppliesParticipate in continuous training to achieve a high level of knowledge of all product offeringsLiaise with departments in the United States (US): Parts, Shipping and PurchasingEnsure a positive customer experience through positive attitude and professional mannerWork safely in a manufacturing environment and follow all company safety policies and procedures
