About the Role:
The purpose of these roles is to manage medium to large scale Information Management (IM) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) project/s, by ensuring successful completion within agreed performance criteria to enable enhanced service delivery.
The Cloud Transformation Project is a key project under Digital Enablement supporting the business in iteratively establishing and delivering the necessary infrastructure, architecture, and security for the establishment of a stable and secure cloud platform (landing zones) for our customers to consume. It will be the platform for Digital Enablement solutions of the future.
About you:
- Demonstrated strong financial management, scheduling (Microsoft Project preferred), and reporting skills.
- Demonstrated experience delivering on large complex digital transformation projects
- Strong experience writing complex governance documentation, tailored to varying stakeholder groups, including Project Initiation Documents, Highlight reports, Sprint Plans and reports, Benefits Realisation Plans, and the like.
- Prince2 or similar PM qualifications highly regarded
What you will be doing:
- Ensure project outcomes are achieved and project management capability is maintained within the agency by leading a multi-disciplinary team/s
- Provide advice and strategic input to project deliverables, to ensure they meet quality standards and comply with the business strategies and architecture.
- Ensure projects are managed in accordance with the best practice guidelines and the organisation's formal project management approach to ensure consistent and quality outcomes are achieved.
- Manage projects by monitoring and reporting on project related trends and performance against project plans and budgets.
- Enable informed decision making on project issues by developing timely and relevant written submissions, briefs, presentations and information papers for project stakeholders.
