job detailsOur Geelong based client is seeking an experienced Information and Records Management Support Officer to join their team for a fixed term contract until 3/10/2023.

Ideally you will:
- Have experience in records management and administrative functions
- Have worked within a Government department or sector
- Be available to start immediately
- Be very team orientated and have a high customer service standard
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have a strong attention to detail
- Have experience using TRIM or Micro Focus Content Manager at an Administrator level
- Have intermediate keyboard and computer skills along with Word, Excel, email and PowerPoint
- Have the ability to conduct research and experience in financial processing
- Experience in preparation of agendas, minutes, reports and presentations
- Experience in organising functions or team events and diary management
If you have experience in a training capacity this will be an added advantage as well.
A few key tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee the priorities of the Information Records Management Unit by monitoring key activities, action items, preparing drafts of reports, presentations, correspondence, briefs, e-mails and managing appointments.
- Coordinate high level of awareness of the priorities and provide the administrative support requirements and follow up financial processing including raising purchase orders and payment of invoices, etc.
- Providing administrative support for the management of issues and correspondence
- Support effective document and file management in accordance with policy and procedures
- Undertake research and analysis tasks to assist in the preparation of reports, development of status reports and briefing notes
- Deliver small group one on one basic introductory training and assisting in developing training materials
- Provide one-on-one support to staff on basic queries relating to in system usage, escalating to appropriate team members
- Remain abreast of key digital developments in the Information and Records Management space
- Accountable for creating and capturing accurate and complete records of the business activities related to this position, in accordance with approved policy and procedures.
