Job summary
Hanlon Industries commenced in 2000 and has now established itself as an industry leader in engineering, design, steel fabrication, commercial building and maintenance services.Our Brisbane office specialises in the manufacture and installation of out-of-home media structures including small & large format, digital and static advertising. We have a number of large and upcoming projects on sites such as Queensland Rail, sports stadiums, airports and major roads.
As qualified commercial builders and having our own fully equipped workshop, trucks and cranes, we are able to handle all types of steel fabrication & erection in house.
We are seeking a Project Manager with minimum 3 years experience in commercial and industrial project management.
This position requires the following:Leadership capability to maintain site/company discipline and make executive decisionsAbility to take ownership and responsibility for projects and activitiesKnowledge of a broad range of construction methodologies and procedures and ability to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results.Proven client management, liaison and customer service skillsExcellent communication, organisational, team management and people skillsSystem orientated person with advanced computer skillsAbility to read and create drawings, reports, engineering documents and specificationsAdministrative capability to manage Quality, Safety and company documentationAdministrative capability to manage cost control, pricing and scheduling
Duties:Plan and oversee construction projects from beginning to endManage the budget and costs of projectsPlan and manage construction processes including construction personnel and activities onsite.Report on work progress to clientsRespond to work delays and other problems and emergenciesCollaborate with team members, engineers, drafts people and construction personnelSelect and instruct labour and subcontractorsObtain permits and licenses from appropriate authoritiesComply with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulationsSelect, order and purchase materialsManage issues of resourcing and sourcing plant, tools and equipmentEnsure & prioritise that OHS&E and Quality documentation are conducted as required, including updating ITPs
