Vemag Australia is always looking for energetic and industrious people to join the team. From our Head Office in Redland Bay, Queensland, we support a number of Sales Managers and Service Technicians throughout Australia and New Zealand.
About the opportunity

We are seeking an energetic and team orientated field service technician, (Electrical qualification) to be based in Perth, WA. The successful applicants main responsibility will be to install, service and repair our range of food processing and packaging equipment.
As the successful applicant you will be required to perform installs, repairs, maintenance, inspections and training on a range of the customers equipment. You will apply your high level of technical skill and expertise to carry out these duties. You will have a strong drive, motivation and direction to succeed and be able to work in a safety conscious environment.
We also provide training on all our products, whether this be on the job training, scheduled product training at our Customer Centre in Redland Bay, QLD or for those who excel, specialized overseas training with a number of our suppliers.
We will provide you with a fully maintained company vehicle, iPhone, laptop, Uniforms and PPE
Duties include but are not limited to: Mechanical/Electrical repairs and servicing of food packaging and processing equipment Maintaining a service vehicle and stores to a high standard Record keeping and job accountability Providing a high level of customer service Independent field service and Workshop work as directed Travel within WA, with some travel interstate if required
The successful candidate will ideally have: A valid electrical license is a must Exposure to Food packaging and Processing equipment (Highly Desirable) Exposure to any FMCG production environments (Highly Desirable) Excellent Diagnostic and repair skills Exposure to Hydraulics/Pneumatics systems Exposure to PLC/VFDs Good customer service attributes Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work self-managing / with the ability to work autonomously in the field Car license full (manual vehicle desirable) Well established computer experience
