We are on the hunt for a Quality Control Officer to join our client's team!As a Quality Control Officer, you will be responsible for visual inspecing food processing and ensuring all finished good comply with the company's standards. Who will you be working with?
Our client is a multi-branded Australian food processing, marketing and farming business specialising in fresh salads, ready-made meals, snacks, food to go and pre-prepared vegetables. They are seeking for a Quality Control Officer, a reliable individual to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent full-time basis. Temporary for 13 weeks on full-time hours before going permanent.

ResponsibilitiesDay-to-day visual inspection of food processing/finished goods to comply with the company's required standardsInspect and test incoming raw materials or products according to the established SOP'sReport any non-conformance of products/processes and timely report to Quality OfficerInspect and ensure overall personnel and work environment hygiene meets the required standardsEnsure GMP documentation is correctly recorded and adhered toAssist the Quality Officer in food processing SOP's and with internal audits as required
What do you need?Relevant industry experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance or understanding of HACCPQualifications in Food Science or equivalent is desirable but not requiredMUST be comfortable working in a Cold Room environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and willingness to learnMust have reliable transport
