About the position.
This role will be working in a rehab unit where the patients require acute care/rehab due to recovering from surgery with knee/hips or patients also recovering from a stroke.
The patients are a mixture of ages, the role can also involve supporting patients who are also waiting to move to aged care or need palliative care.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse Qualifications
- AHPRA registration
Skills
- Experience with acute care
- Experience with palliative care
- Work well within scope of practice and understand a deteriorating patient (where and when to escalate)
- Be a good team leader to the ENs and AINs
Experience
Min 2 years acute care experience
