The Centre
This gorgeous and EXCEEDING 70 place service located in Artarmon is looking for a passionate Certificate III or Diploma Educator to work full-time 4 or 5 days a week in their Toddler or Preschool room. The service has spacious outdoor and indoor spaces catered for each age group, enabling educators to provide high quality programs in a nurturing environment. The centre's teaching methods surround the idea that all children are capable learners who often learn through play and spontaneous learning opportunities. You will have a strong induction period supported by other professionals to ensure your success within the new position. They have a positive team culture and experienced educators who are focused on high quality learning outcomes. It is about a 10 minute walk from Artarmon station or on-site parking is available for all staff.
The Role
As a Childcare Educator, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Work alongside the Room Leader to motivate and support educators to implement curriculum consistently throughout the Toddler room
- Lead the development and implementation of an effective educational program in the service that is age appropriate
- Create and maintain positive relationships with children and families
- Being enthusiastic and reliable with demonstrated experience in providing high-quality education and care for children
- Adhere to NQS as well as company policies and procedures

About You
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education OR ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification - new grads welcome!
- A current Working with Childrens Check
- Current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
- Good understanding and knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
