The Centre
This gorgeous and EXCEEDING 70 place service located in Artarmon is looking for a Certificate III or Diploma Educator to become the Nursery Co-Room Leader. This role is ideal for an educator looking to take on leadership responsibility whilst building their education practices and forming relationships with children and families. As Room Leader, you are allocated a day a week to for programming and planning, working collaboratively with the other Room Leader. The Nursery room holds up to 16 babies and you will be supported with other experienced educators that is over ratio. The service has spacious outdoor and indoor spaces catered for each age group, enabling educators to provide high quality programs in a nurturing environment. You will have a strong induction period supported by other professionals to ensure your success within the new position. They have a positive team culture and experienced educators who are focused on high quality learning outcomes. It is about a 10 minute walk from Artarmon station or on-site parking is available for all staff. You will have the option to work full-time across 4 or 5 days with shifts between 7:00am - 6:00pm.
The Role
As the Nursery Co-Room Leader, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Work alongside the other Co-Room Leader to motivate and support educators to implement curriculum consistently throughout the Nursery room
- Lead the development and implementation of an effective educational program in the service that is age appropriate
- Create and maintain positive relationships with children and families
- Being enthusiastic and reliable with demonstrated experience in providing high-quality education and care for children
- Adhere to NQS as well as company policies and procedures

About You
To be successful in this position you will have:

- Good understanding and knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
