THE ROLEThe Finance Reporting Manager is responsible for leading the group reporting and driving a robust financial control environment for the Mulpha Group.
You will be an integral part of the Finance strategic transformation to strengthen our foundations and enabling growth in a dynamic work environment. You will support the Group Financial Controller with managing the Group Finance function in reporting, governance and accounting advisory.
You will support the Group Financial Controller with managing the Group Finance function in reporting, governance and accounting advisory, including (but not limited to): Manage the Groups month end GL close and key reporting deliverables, including overseeing monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet, cashflow and capital expenditure forecast Provide financial oversight & governance and assist with the implementation the financial control framework across Finance (Australia & Malaysia). This includes governance policy drafting, uplift cashflow reporting and analytical reviews for Group entities Advise on accounting and reporting for new transactions, and partner with Business & Business Finance teams to accounting and reporting. This includes horizon scanning for financial and regulatory changes, and educate Business and Finance teams as appropriate Own strategic projects on transformation and process improvement initiatives to drive efficiencies across the Finance function Support the Group Financial Controller to deliver the Group reporting, compliance requirements, banking activities & payment approvals and ad hoc projects (including system changes) as required Close interaction with Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting Support and coach junior staff members within in the team
YOUR BACKGROUND 5+ years post-qualified experience Experience in audit or development & property industry is preferable (but not essential) CA (or equivalent) qualified Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with all levels of stakeholders Strong leadership skills to train, mentor and motivate individuals across the team Strong control and process improvement mindset Quick to learn and adapt, and ability to think outside the box to challenge processes and achieve better outcomes Ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholders in a dynamic environment
