The Centre
This beautiful, purpose built, small long day care centre in St Ive's is looking for a Certificate III/Diploma Trained Educator and an Early Childhood Teacher to join their welcoming and established team. The centre caters for children aged 0-5 years and follows programming that works for each childs individual strengths and needs. The centre is growing enrolments in each age group so there is flexibility to work in your preferred room. The service is family run and has strong community connections and places a big importance on educator wellness, offering a bonus $200 a week on top of your salary as a wellness bonus (see below for more info). The centre is open Monday to Friday from 7:30am - 6:00pm.
The Role
As a Educator or ECT at the service some of your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Provide high quality care and education in line with the curriculum and EYLF learning outcomes
- Work collaboratively and respectfully alongside other educators and leaders
- Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with children and families
- Being reliable, respectful and work constructively with your colleagues and other professionals
- Being enthusiastic and reliable with demonstrated experience in providing high-quality education and care for children

About You
To be successful in this position you must have:
- A Certificate III or Diploma or Bachelors in Early Childhood Education OR ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
- A current Working with Childrens Check
- Current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
- Understanding and knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
