Your New Career
Our Early Years department provides our community with kindergarten programs in various locations throughout Shire. This role plays an integral part in ensuring that our Kindergarten programs are staffed appropriately, to the correct ratios, with suitably qualified employees. It is also responsible for collaborating with local community groups and businesses to ensure that the facilities are resourced with the appropriate materials and equipment by sourcing recycled materials and implementing creating program ideas.

You will also be someone who has:Previous experience in rostering staff absences within the early years sectorExperience in sourcing recycled and sustainable materials and products for use in the educational programAbility to work with families and children in an education and care setting

Mandatory Requirements (Skills & Experience)Minimum of a Certificate III in Childrens Services from an ACECQA approved training organisation.Knowledge of staff to child ratios in early years services.Knowledge of qualification requirements for early years staff.Knowledge and understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010 and Regulations (2011), National Quality Standard (NQS) and the Early Years Learning Framework. Knowledge and enthusiasm for creating environmentally sustainable early years services.Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate (including CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma)
