Job summary
The Sebel Sydney Chatswood is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our luxury hotel. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of guest service at all times across the hotel. This is a rare and exciting opportunity which will allow you to further develop your leadership and organisational skills and get you ready for your next role.THE ROLE
You will be the face of The Sebel Sydney Chatswood and will be the hotel representative in the absence of the Operations Manager and General Manager. You will be responsible for the day to day operations of the hotel and will assist in all areas during peak times to eliminate potential issues. You will have the ability to surprise our guests with your natural, bright and bubbly customer service style ensuring that their stay will be one to remember.
WHO ARE YOU
To be successful in this role you will have unlimited working rights in Australia. You are a naturally confident person who is able to approach people and initiate conversation along with a strong knowledge of the hotel and its operations. Having previous experience as an Assistant Manager, you are expected to be highly organised and maintain the ability to effectively shift and manage priorities as per the business demands.
You will project a professional image at all times through personal presentation and display excellent interpersonal skills whilst being guest orientated and service minded. As an Assistant Manager, you will have the ability to handle tasks carefully and correctly. You will demonstrate versatility in responding to guest requests and situations whilst remaining calm in high volume work situations. Lastly, you will be committed to undertake growth and further development.
