Our client is a successful multi discipline contractor, has an immediate recruitment for HSE Advisor who can start work immediately in this new permanent role in regional Victoria.
Overview
This is a great opportunity for an HSE Advisor / Safety professional with a background in the utilities, construction or mining industry for this varied role. As the suitable candidate you will be experienced in risk management, hazard identification and have a strong understanding of the health and safety and environmental regulations, and enjoy working as part of a close knit team. This role will involve traveling to sites around regional victoria and liaising with contractors and ensuring safety standards are implemented, upheld and documented.
Duties:
- Carry out generalist HSE activities
- implementation of the OH&S plans, policies and procedures
- Manage the return to work and incident investigations
- Manage compliance and risk assessments
- Conduct and coordinate training
- Undertake site audits
Requirements
- Two to five years experience in a safety / environment or relevant industry
- Experience in the utilities, services or construction sector
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in safety
- A clean driving license is essential
