job detailsThis major Federal Government department is looking for multiple APS4/5 Administration / Coordination Officers to join their dynamic and fast team team. This is a non-ongoing opportunity for 6 months with the possibility of extension depending on performance.
Your responsibilities
Your duties will include but are not limited to: ...
- Coordinate regular training to support compliance with business rules.
- Monitoring the inbox and actioning emails were appropriate
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Creating tickets for any maintenance issues e.g. air conditioning, lighting, etc
- Saving items to TRIM including emails and adding items to SharePoint such as templates
- Developing task cards/procedures
- Update floor plan and organise desk moves
- Assist with the onboarding of new staff members
- Doing reference checks
- Assisting with staff scheduling
- General administrative related tasks

- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Can assess information and exercise judgement
- Perform well under pressure
- Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines
- Adaptable and bring a positive and solutions-focused approach to their work, and
- Enjoy working closely with others as part of a team
