We are searching for an experienced and highly analytical Assistant to conduct assessments of business and individual loans. You will act as the bridge between potential clients and our growing financial institution, conducting client evaluations, researching credit records, and preparing loan package documentation.
In this position, your chief goal will be to help eligible applicants obtain loans in a timely and professional manner while protecting our institution's credibility. You will work alongside the principal and are expected to be self-sufficient and manage all aspects of the loan application from post interview to settlement.
You should also have strong attention to detail with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
This is work form home-based role due to COVID-19 once the restrictions are lifted this will be as office-based role. We offer flexible working hours for the right person.
Responsibilities:Preparing compliance and support documents to ensure all information required is correct and compliant.Maintain and foster key relationships with referral partners, bank BDM's and conveyancers to resolve any queries.Assist the Mortgage Broker to ensure that all annual internal Mortgage related compliance documents are updated and submitted on time.Maintain the CRM system (Podium).Working with broker engine.Track the status of loan application and liaise with clients, lenders, conveyancers, and referral partners and ensure settlement happens on time.Providing post settlement service to customersProvide general support to the Broker Team.
Requirements:A minimum of 2 years experience as a Mortgage broker Loan Processor or similar role.In-depth knowledge of loan processes, documentation and Credit.Good understanding of banking computer software and MS Office.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Good multitasking abilities with outstanding time management skills.
