Woods & Co have partnered with the team behind this AWARD WINNING Eatery in Carlton. We are on the hunt for capable Head Chef who looking for the next step in their career! From intimate dinners to casual catch-ups, corporate gatherings to milestone celebrations, our client is an all-occasions Establishment. They have a new beautifully refurbished Private Dining area that offers much sought-after privacy while still offering the same excellent service, food, and drinks.This is a hands-on role - you'll be part of the service, be the leading team player at a thriving, multi-faceted, exciting environment. We are after people with a true love of hospo to take on these inspiring opportunities.

Overseeing the opening and closing operations of the kitchen Roster management Creativity and ability to develop and implement menus as required. Oversight of financial Reporting including COGs, Labour, Wastage Contract Negotiations for suppliers Stocktake and ordering processes Oversee the OH&S procedures and implementation Manage and train your staff Provide coaching and mentoring to develop your team Work across all sections of the kitchen Carry out quality checks on food Working with the close knit team Have an understanding of the latest culinary trends Stay up to date with Health and Safety Regulations What do you need?
Must have at least 3 years experience in a Head Chef Role Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated experience in training staff. Demonstrated experience overseeing the full kitchen operations. Relevant trade qualifications Demonstrated experience with COGs and financials preferable. A car or reliable transport Want to work long term and progress your career with the business
