About Our ClientOur client are a British based multinational business specialising in inspection, certification, product testing and assurance listed on the London Stock Exchange and part of the FTSE 100 Index. They are industry leaders, dealing with some of the biggest players in the WA Market - from Mining, to O&G, Power Generation, Water, etc. They are looking to expand their Perth presence with the addition of a Sales Executive to support their wider Australian operations and contribute to further growing market share.
Job Description
This role will be remote based, reporting into the Regional Sales Manager (based in Victoria). The duties include:
- Researching & identifying new business opportunities
- Updating & maintaining of internal CRM, using this tool to build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities within particular business segments
- Assist in sales support capacity for mega deals, tenders, pre-qualification processes
- Convert prospects into Sales while planning to improve customer satisfaction at all steps of the sales cycle
- Work closely with operational team (branch managers, project coordinators, business leads, business development managers, regional directors)
- Keep up to date with Market intelligence, attend sales meetings and contribute to wider sales metrics (presentations, etc)
The Successful Applicant
- Tertiary qualified: completion of a University degree or certification within relevant field (Science, Engineering, etc)
- 1-2+ years Customer Service/Sales experience, client facing, dealing with enquiries and ensuring best outcomes
- Strong personal and interpersonal skills: good communication, self motivated, driven, autonomous
- Ability to engage with relevant contacts over phone, email, Teams or in person
- Comfortable presenting to colleagues, clients and stakeholders. Interest in contributing to wider projects and global presentations
- Motivated and driven, a self starter who is eager to hit the ground running
- Intermediate technology skills (Powerpoint, Microsoft Office, social media)
