job detailsRandstad is currently recruiting for an experienced supply chain coordinator for an immediate start. You will join a leading global food and beverage company based on the Gold Coast.
Ideally you will have FMCG experience and have a strong understanding of the supply chain process. This is a temporary full time position with the high possibility of extension.
Key responsibilities -

- Work with current suppliers in conjunction with the brand and procurement on cost savings and market trends.
- You will lead the operational implementation of NFD products, and effectively work with current suppliers to improve value and proactively drive and implement cost reduction initiatives.
- Coordinate supply and delivery of materials to meet timelines.
- Ensure minimum disruption to the network through effective supply chain management
- Maintain and review product fault from the database, while reporting daily to ensure sufficient stock coverage
- Ensure all logistics components comply with hygiene, food safety and contractual requirements.
- Monitor key performance indicators
- Ensure product quality and service levels provided reflect approved supplier satisfaction and expectations are met
- Process product support requests
Experienced required -
- Knowledge of the supply chain process in the food industry is highly desirable
- Previous experience in a logistics or procurement role is essential
- Strong excel skills
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills is required
