Job summary

As Head of Product and Technology within the Telecoms organisation, you will support service sales directly or indirectly via the unit resources as you understand and align with the overall service delivery processes, models, and strategies.

In this people leadership role in the operational organisation, you will responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the companies fixed line voice and data network and products. Using an active and practical leadership approach, the Head of Technology will develop programs leveraging the companys resources to attain the companys strategic goals.

The role specifically manages the lifecycle of telecom products, operations support systems and network technology for the mid-tier corporate market in Australia.

The role will involve managing the product team and strategy for developing new products, product lifecycle management, managing the operation efficiency of the products.

You will:
Manage the cost structure and positioning of the Voice product portfolio Product Collateral content development and maintenance Facilitate product training and education and awareness (network, competitive intelligence, technology, Market positioning, Market Messaging) within the company. Identify and drive internal activities that enhance the profitability, efficiency and automation of the Voice product portfolio. Manage the lifecycle of the portfolioImprove and standardise network design and architecture, ensuring consistency, simplicity and maintainability. Drive improvements in customer service delivery and assurance to ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction. Drive cost reductions and efficiencies in network maintenance costs. Improve adherence to SLAs and drive efficiencies and show ongoing improvements and benchmark to industry standard and quality metrics To be successful in the role you must have:
Minimum 15 years experience in a similar product management or network engineering management role in Telecommunications, IT or similar industry. Strong understanding of VoIP and UC as a Service, Hosted Telephony, SIP Trunking products. Strong understanding of MPLS IPVPN, IP Networking and Broadband Access technologies. Strong understanding of OSS and Network Management System technologies. Experience in a dynamic fast paced environment in growth stages of a company Strong understanding and passion for technology and telecommunications products such as WAN, PSTN voice, SDN and NBN. Strong understanding of the industry especially telco wholesale market and NBN. Whats in it for you?:
