The Opportunity:
Our client is seeking an experienced Bid Writer with minimum 5 years' experience in the infrastructure/construction sector to support their current and future tenders.
In this role, you will assist in the development of bid responses by translating strategic vision and liaising with key contributors from across the organisation into tailored, bespoke, innovative and evidence-based responses in line with specifications, word/page limit restrictions and deadlines.
Working as part of the Bid Team you will also:
Analyse, coordinate, write and develop comprehensive responses incorporating the requirements of the EOI/RFT Incorporate evidence/research and writing style/branding ensuring bid is targeted to the defined audience Quality assure, re-write for consistency/correct grammar as necessary and provide constructive feedback to ensure meaningful and succinct information is obtained Quality assure and provide peer review function of another writers work
As a successful Bid Writer, you will have:
5+ years of experience as Bid/Submissions/Technical Writer A tertiary qualification in arts, journalism, business or engineering with a background in technical writing Proficient MS Office Skills and IT Literacy Proven experience in writing successful bid submissions Possess exceptional writing skills such as able to write, edit and proofread technical documents for submissions Communicate confidently and effectively, verbally and in writing and ability to foster credible collaborative relationships
Your application will be highly regarded if you also have:
Previous experience or exposure in core construction & engineering principles, including road and bridge infrastructure projects Relevant qualification or formal training in business/proposal/tender writing.
To thrive in the team environment, you should be a confident communicator both verbally and in writing who can track and deliver multiple submissions concurrently as well as build trusted and cooperative relationships along the way across our projects in NSW
