job detailsMy client, a sessional kindergarten Randstad Education, are privileged to be working with and are seeking an additional Kindergarten Teacher to join a truly remarkable and passionate team in the Fitzroy area.
This role really needs someone who is an excellent communicator, team orientated and enjoys working in with families. An individual who is able to encourage and develop child led experiences, build positive relationships within the community and local school and continually strive to exceed quality standards.
The successful candidate for this position will be able to say they work in an Exceeeding rated kindergarten and work alongside passionate kinder teachers. This is a permanent part time role 22.5 hours per week across 3 days per week. You will be working in the 4-5 year old program - 2 days a week in session from 8:15am to 4:15pm and 1 full day of program planning.
The Teacher will have the opportunity to gain paid professional development, set up days as per the award, paid school holidays and more!
The Kinder program caters for 18 children per day, with a 2 teachers in the programs. A set shift is offered for the teacher to implement the program in those key hours. This Kinder has a play based philosophy, inspired by a range of philosophers .
The successful candidate will have:
- A Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent
- Relevant VIT card
- Current First Aid or willing to obtain
- CPR , Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
- a genuine enthusiasm, passion and dedication to fostering lifelong learners
