You will be responsible for the leadership of project progress to ensure that all Project objectives are delivered to the highest standard, and be accountable for managing Budget Measures FY24 projects in the Regulatory Policy and Intelligence Group to meet the needs of the agency and managing the implementation of several projects.
Critical to your success will be your ability to ensure that all aspects of the project have been analysed, opportunities, problems and risks identified, and all requirements documented, planned implementation prioritised, and timeframes identified.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Applying the Project Governance Framework incorporating change management planning and use of Portfolio and Project (PPM) Tool
- Lead project planning and the design and management of risk mitigation plan
- Maintain project assurance via dedicated Project Board and Steering Committee
- Manage project progress, ensuring project timelines are met and/or adapting work as required and reporting on status of project to the executive
- Manage and coordinate staff and internal resources as required
- Establish and maintain effective and strong stakeholder relationships
- Procure services, contractors and consultancy as required including tender processes and contract management
Ideally you will have:
- The ability to demonstrate successful management of large and complex projects
- High level analytical skills and the ability to interpret information and apply to the progress of the project
- Proven experience with the use of a standard suite of project support documentation, and proficient with PPM tools.
- Exceptionally high level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to influence stakeholders in a positive manner that fosters collaboration and delivery of quality outcomes
- Understanding of health systems, aged care sector and Australian government aged care reforms .
