About usWe are an established electrical contracting company located in Hobart. Our work range includes: domestic and commercial maintenance work; new home construction; shop fit outs; industrial machinery repair; temporary power solutions; and event power and maintenance.
The role on offer is within our Service department. This caters to predominantly domestic rental property repairs and maintenance or replacement of fixed appliances such as ovens, rangehoods, heaters and heat pumps, lighting and general power, switchboard upgrades and ventilation solutions.
Qualifications & experienceElectrical Practitioner's license with a broad range of experienceWorking knowledge of the AS/NZS 3000Drivers LicenseAdditional qualifications favourable and negotiable in wage and conditions are:Austel or restricted cabling licenseA/C install ticketTo be suitable for this role, it is essential that you are self-motivated; solution oriented; enjoy responsibility; and can work independently or in a team.
Tasks & responsibilitiesDiagnose malfunctioning systems and components to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring and fixtures.
Perform duties such as maintaining records and files, preparing reports and ordering supplies and equipment.
