THE COMPANY:We build and manage our own developments throughout South East Queensland with a long pipeline of work in 2022 and into 2023. We are based in Eight Mile Plains and with an exciting year ahead of us, we are seeking a skilled, growth-focused individual who can add to our high quality service.
Your new role:
Your role will see you delivering residential projects in line with the construction programme, cost standards and ensuring there is always a strong focus on quality and safety.
As a Site Foreman, you will be managing a team combined of both labourers and subcontractors.
Skills and Experience
Have the relevant experience as an experienced Foreman and or relevant Trade backgroundHave experience delivering residential & commercial projects Excellent subbie management skillsAble to work in a team environmentBe well presented and a good communicator to clients and sub-contractorsAbility to read and understand construction documents (e.g. specifications and drawings, schedules etc.)Hold a valid drivers license
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Construction Manager/Director you will be responsible for supervising trades and driving the project program to meet targets and deadlinesProven building knowledge and a thorough understanding of the construction process with solid experience in a similar role (5 years +)Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detailA strong focus on ensuring safety on site is essentialEnsuring the programme is meeting milestonesCoordinating sub-contractors and tradesManaging Quality and WHS complianceDeveloping and managing the project programmeCreating and maintaining strong relationships with our Subcontractors, Consultants and Client partnersManaging and coaching staff effectively, leading the site team in achieving both project and individual goals
