Job summary
The OpportunityWe are looking for a talented and reliable Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our dedicated afternoon shift maintenance team based in Brooklyn. We are also open to apprentices keen that are keen to learn from experienced Diesel Mechanics or qualified Light Vehicle Mechanics looking to upskill.
This is a key role in the team where you will be servicing and maintaining our large, diverse fleet of heavy commercial vehicles and industrial plant equipment within our clean, well equipped Brooklyn workshop.
Veolia' maintenance teams are backed by OEM diagnostic equipment and online technical maintenance information.
What's on offer
Competitive remuneration plus overtime and penalty rates Monday to Thursday from 3pm to 11.30pm, and Fridays from 11.30am to 6pm. 15% loading for afternoon shift An opportunity to learn and develop your skills.
You'll need:
A Cert III in Heavy Road Transport or equivalent Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong safety focus with a proactive approach to improving safety and risk management Motivation to learn and grow within a team environment
