Job Description
As part of the project delivery team, as a Network & Security engineer you will be required to assist in the design, deployment and ongoing management of complex new network systems for our client's new project.
You will be responsible for ensuring all network platforms are secure by design, and that all systems and processes are maintained in a secure state at all times. You will need to collaborate with vendors, customers, team members, and staff to provide the necessary systems and services.
This opportunity is a contract role with opportunity to extend.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal Network & Security Engineer candidate will have:
- Experience with and exposure to a wide range of network technologies, specifically Fortinet firewalls and systems
- Experience designing, deploying and managing SDWAN
- Solid understanding of network protocols and systems such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VRF, MPLS
- Experience managing and implementing complex multisite networks
- Amazing problem solving
- Great communication skills
