Job summary
Established over 25 years ago, the Company is a successful manufacturer of high-quality liquid management products to the Agriculture and Mining industries, with headquarters, and multiple regional offices, in WA. It has experienced exponential success since inception, with both organic and acquisitive growth, and is now embarking on an exciting new phase in the companys history. As such, it is looking for a Sales Consultant, with a focus on the Mining industry.Scope of Duties
The (Senior) Sales Consultant is responsible for effectively managing sales related interactions with predominantly Mining industry customers, as well as those from the Chemical, Construction, Utilities and wider Industrial sector.
ResponsibilitiesManaging enquiries and leads from new and existing customersPrepare and issue professional proposals, assisting with more complex tenders where requiredManaging customer relationships and expectations.Collaborating closely with colleagues in the Sales team to ensure client satisfaction throughout the sales processDatabase managementBuilding strong relationships with clients and strategic partnersManaging purchase orders and processing of sales ordersContribution to continuous improvement of systems and processesAssisting with the issuance of marketing material and other creative outbound activitiesHaving fun!
Required Skills / Experience / QualificationsMinimum 2-years in a sales role, preferably in the commercial / industrial sector, but full training will be givenProven skills dealing with both new and existing customers, and a strong customer service mindsetSales and negotiating skillsAbility to meet commitments under pressureMotivation, maturity, autonomy and the ability to work with a team.Highly organised and proactiveStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide accurate and detailed information as requested
