Job Description
Key responsibilities of this role includes:
- Journal preparation
- General Ledger reconciliations
- Profit and Loss analysis
- Cost accounting support for all Operations
- Completing monthly bank reconciliations
- Completing monthly intercompany reconciliations
- General ledger posting and journals
- Chart of accounts management
- Cash flow and bank account reporting
- Assist with consolidation and preparation of internal reporting including group income
statement, balance sheet and cash flows
- Assisting with the preparation of statutory financials across the Group
The Successful Applicant
In order to be considered for this role, you will:
- Immediately available or on a short notice period (1-2 weeks)
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting (BBus, BCom or equivalent)
- Working towards or completed membership of a professional accounting association (CA/CPA)
- Well-developed report writing and presentation skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to apply accounting principles and procedures to work assignments
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously to ensure timely completion of projects and other work activities
- High level of personal drive
- Collaborative approach to achieving results
- High level of integrity and respect
