The Role
This is strategic focused CTO role where you will guide this organisation through their next stage of evolution as they further scale products, markets, and teams. Working with a highly accomplished, engaged, and talented engineering team, you will inspire and excite them about the limitless possibilities ahead. Working closely with and mentoring a high performing Head of Engineering you will encourage innovation, enhance speed & quality of delivery, and uncover opportunities to help the team reach new heights.
This role also has a strong focus on product strategy, customer acquisition and market growth. Working closely with current & prospective customers, you will form strategic partnerships with client-side executives to enhance the customer experience and identify new opportunities. A key component of this role will be creating and commercialising new & existing products by researching markets and work with product management, marketing, and sales teams to bring your ideas to life.
What autonomy will I have?
As part of the ELT, you will work closely with the founder/MD to set the engineering and product strategy. The role involves a lot of autonomy where you will have input to decisions and will be encouraged to take risks, test, fail, and learn quickly, to ensure you push the boundaries of what's possible. The MD encourages creative thinking and wants someone who can bring new ideas and expertise to the business to uplift capability and delivery, you will be constantly challenged and mentally stimulated where your ideas will be heard.
