The Position
St John of God Murdoch Hospital has a new opportunity for a motivated professional to join our team as CSSD Supervisor. As CSSD Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the effective processing and supply of Operating Room instruments and equipment, and items supplied by CSSD, and other relevant activities.
This excellent opportunity is being offered on a permanent, full-time basis, working 76 hours per fortnight. The successful candidate will have:Ability to work within and contribute to the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.Certificate III in Sterilisation Service or equivalent.Highly developed interpersonal and written communication skills.Highly developed organisational skills, knowledge of provision of departmental services.Ability to delegate, coordinate, liaise and work collaboratively with colleagues and other multidisciplinary team members.Ability to teach within CSSD and related areas.Previous relevant experience in hospital sterilisation.Previous supervisory experience (desirable)An understanding and commitment to quality improvement (desirable)
