Job Description
- Monitor production progress to ensure adherence to schedules and goals.
- Lead and participate in SPOD and SPOW meetings for effective coordination.
- Serve as the main interface between subcontractors and stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and information flow.
- Coordinate subcontractor activities to align with production schedule goals.
- Collaborate with the ship team for seamless production coordination.
- Assist the Quality/V&V team in the Area/Cladding Release Process.
- Participate in safety inspections to ensure compliance with protocols.
- Facilitate integration of set-to-work activities into the production process.
- Participate in acceptance tests to validate production milestones.
- Maintain an overview of production phase milestones.
- Resolve production issues and escalate when necessary.
- Delegate tasks to optimise work-flow and resource utilisation.
- Assist the Production Planner in creating production schedules and action plans.
- Monitor production for faults and non-compliance, ensuring quality standards are met.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in ship production, essential
- Quality control experience
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM tools in shipbuilding
- Experience on aluminium constructions, advantageous
