Job Description
- Develop and prioritise category initiatives annually (and update as needed).
- Define category specific policies and procedures per initiative (e.g: single sourcing, supplier panels, etc.)
- - Target 100% of addressable spend under category strategy.
- Tendering, negotiation and contract management
- Manage end to end go to market process while ensuring regulatory compliance & managing risks
- Conduct effective change management with stakeholder's post-implementation to realise value from initiatives.
- Supplier relationship management (SRM)
- Works with the business to define supplier KPIs, scorecard, vendor management models, data sources and collection methods on supplier performance.
- Support the business to manage relationships with incumbent strategic suppliers including driving supplier innovation and developing joint improvement initiatives.
- Performance reporting and compliance
- Stakeholder management
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand and align to their business strategies, understand commercial drivers and business priorities in order to become a trusted advisor
- Responsible for inter-BU coordination for e.g: stakeholder meetings, reporting & supplier review meetings etc.
The Successful Applicant
- Adaptability Intelligence
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or Business (preferable not essential)
- Proven experience developing, implementing and maintaining category strategies
- Proven expertise in negotiating with suppliers
- Understanding of working in a regulated environment & experience in creating risk mitigation plans & strategies (ideal)
- Strong category, sourcing, negotiation and supplier management skills
- Specialist Marketing procurement category knowledge including creative, media, production and sponsorship
- Working with the Procurement team and Stakeholders to support the mobilisation of the category
- Experience in identifying process improvements in the S2P end to end processes and focusing on continuous improvement, standardisation and simplification.
