Here at Illawarra Speech Pathology, we are an independent, family-run Speech Pathology clinic. We have a small but dedicated, supportive, and creative team, and we are now seeking Speech Therapists to enhance our services.
We are a progressive and inclusive clinic that actively advocates for our NDIS network. We host interactive stores, have integrated industry-relevant professional development events, and deliver mobile and clinical therapy services.
About the Opportunity - Experienced Speech Therapist
Please note: we are also actively seeking driven graduates.
Whilst we are a smaller team, we are committed to ensuring your growth, work/life balance, and personal requirements are met as you can observe in the below suite of benefits we have developed for your convenience:Enjoy $75,000- $110,000 + super (depending on experience and qualifications);Access to a work vehicle (negotiable, if required);$1,000 professional development work hours;Phone and laptop if required;Travel allowance recompensed by kilometre
Most importantly, you can enjoy work/life balance with a capped client base of a maximum of 4 clients and 4 hours of notes, with no weekends, plus support (and supervision for graduates) from experienced Speech Pathologists.
What You'll Do
You will manage an NDIS clientele caseload with grace and autonomy in either a mobile or clinical capacity. Mobile Therapists will travel up to 20 minutes away from the clinic (with travel allowance.) Manage caseloads (accommodating of preferred caseloads);Conduct client management and develop case notes accordingly meeting regulation and legislation;Creatively and proactively develop plans tailored to the needs of respective clients;Refer clients to relevant services and networks
What We Need From You
We are open to an array of candidates from driven Speech Pathology Graduates all the way through to advanced Speech Therapists.
You will demonstrate initiative, autonomy, creativity, empathy, strong interpersonal communication skills, and accountability. Additionally, you will have:A Speech Pathology Australia certification or eligibility to obtain in the near future;An unrestricted Australian Driver's License (not essential for clinical roles);A clear National Police Check or willingness to obtain;Complete vaccination against COVID-19;A valid Working With Children Check
