About Our ClientMichael Page have partnered with a large-scale property developer located close to Melbourne's CBD.
Job Description
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist project budgets
- Assist in monthly sales and settlements budgeting and forecasting
- Assist in the accounting of cash and bank entries
- Assist with preparation of monthly WIP (stage cost) variance reports
- Assist with pricing, stage costing and estate costs for submission to management for approval
- Manage the reconciliation of allocated General Ledger accounts to supporting schedules in-line with the reconciliation procedures
- Prepare and assist with general journals
- Assist with control over Fixed Asset Register
- Assist with extracting actuals to update monthly project feasibilities with the relevant Project Accountant
- Assist with Year End Audit for relevant projects
The Successful Applicant
Successful candidate:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance
- CA/CPA qualification
- Experience in Management Accounting or Project Accounting
- Available immediately or very short notice
- Property/Real Estate/Construction background desired but not essential
