Your new role
The successful Risk Analyst will support the Scheme Integrity Branch in assisting the Department and responsibility for resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging
activities of substantial depth involving significant detail. It will provide the leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the Team Membership and assigned Contractors working within the Work Area.
The EL1 Assistant Director Risk Analyst is responsible for actively managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships and may be required to represent and negotiate on behalf of the NDIA to advance the department interests across a range of forums.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to
...
- Identifying and documenting current business processes to create baseline understanding.
- Facilitating the identification of business requirements, monitoring and collating data and identifying competing demands, organizational changes and new responsibilities.
- Evaluating effectiveness of proposed solutions and design at both a conceptual and tactical level in conjunction with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Maintaining current expertise in Information Systems and applying this to the development, execution and improvement of the Strategic Program.
- Leading workshops and training sessions with key stakeholders.
- Designing and configuring dashboards and reports for NDIA staff as required to enhance existing information and further investigations.
- Providing risk reporting and insights to Agency Executives and the Board.
- Facilitating cross functional risk communications on risk management issues and initiatives.
Key skills required for this Position
- 5+ years or more experience in business analytics, process mapping and risk methodically
- 5+ years or more experience in risk management disciplines in either operational, or project delivery environments
- Proven effective collaborator experience successfully working with cross functional teams
Desirable skills for this Position
Ideally have knowledge about systems and process oriented mindset that can help process simplification and improvement analytical and data driven to analyze trends and insights, problem solving mindset to navigate complex situations and ability to work autonomously and as part of cross functional teams
What you'll need to succeed
This role requires the successful candidate to be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain a government security clearance. Preference may be given to applicants with an active clearance. Successful applicants may be requested to submit a clearance at a higher level.
