Ventia are looking for a new Cleaning Supervisor to join their hard-working team.
We are seeking someone who is committed, works well under pressure, and has strong communication skills. This person will be responsible for managing a team with 20 people in different shifts and locations. You will be flexible with hours of work as the successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising cleaning duties in accordance with the DHB and Ventia standards; cleaning task descriptions and cleaning schedules
- Ensure the Cleaning Services delivered at WDHB meet or exceed the required practices and standards of hygiene and cleanliness required
- Assist with overseeing the Cleaning Services service staff and subcontractors
- Assist as required with coordinating publicity, education, and training activities for Ventia and DHB staff in relation to the safe handling and segregation of all waste and recyclables.
- Assist as required with developing, maintaining, and updating the Cleaning Services Plan in relation to WDHB
- Ensure Ventia SHEQ standards are implemented and managed
- Assist in preparing Monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports

Requirements for the role:
- Fully Vaccinated against Covid -19 (Including Booster)
- NZQA or Other Recognised Cleaning qualification will be highly regarded
- Experience in Cleaning
- Experience working in the healthcare environment would be well regarded
- Generally, fit to undertake physical aspects of the role
- Reliable and have great Communication Skills
