Graduate Mental Health Registered Nurse
Latrobe Regional Hospital have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Graduate Mental Health Registered Nurse to join the team on a 12 month contract at 0.8 EFT.
Reporting to the Unit Manager the succesful applicant will participate in the graduate program to develop skills, knowledge and attributes to enable the provision of high quality, safe, trauma informed and evidence based clinical mental health services and ensuring the achievement of quality patient outcomes at Latrobe Regional Hospital. Support will be provided by the Education and Training Unit.
The successful applicant will:Be a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Undertake assessments in a timely manner, with risk assessment and individual care plan formulatedParticipate in regular reviews that occur, in collaboration with the client, carers, significant others and multidisciplinary teamContribute to discharge planning which is undertaken in collaboration with the client, carers, significant others and multidisciplinary team
IMPORTANT: All staff employed in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of Vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
