About the role:
We're looking for Laundry Assistants who will provide quality laundry services for personal clothing that contribute to residents comfort, physical appearance and sense of self-esteem. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will promote and participate in quality activities, and provide outstanding customer service maintaining friendly, supportive and professional relationships with residents, their relatives and friends. You will make sure everything is labelled and stored correctly and if you find a maintenance issue, you will flag or fix it. Organised and keen to serve, you appreciate and respond to resident needs by listening and communicating well, whilst ensuring resident privacy and dignity is always maintained.

You will also ideally have, or be able to attain:An understanding of infection control proceduresHave sound knowledge of OH&S procedures, relevant chemicals and safe work practicesA current Working With Vulnerable People Check - you will not be able to commence without thisFull Australian working rightsA National Police Check
Experience in cleaning or laundry services in Aged Care or another health related or commercial setting is desirable, however we welcome all who have experience in a related role to apply!
