job detailsAre you an experienced forklift driver? Our client is a leading Australian owned and operated paint manufacturing business, producing and dispatching decorative paints and performance coatings. With development in the industry we are currently seeking multiple Yard Hands/Loaders with a hands-on approach to join the teams in Brooklyn and Derrimut.
You will be collecting, loading and unloading warehouse crates and products. On offer is $30.95/hour with Day shift 7am - 3pm Monday to Friday. ...
The role
- Counterbalance Forklift Operations: unloading trucks and put away of stocks
- Outdoor loading area includes racking, storage, truck bays and storage
- Pick packing and preparation of orders
- Pallet stacking and wrapping
- Use wireless RF scanning equipment
- General warehouse duties
What you need
Previous experience as a forklift operator and have a current LF licence. You will need to be safety focused, physically fit and able to complete manual tasks.
- Current Forklift licence
- Storeperson, warehouse, logistics,experience an advantage
- Previous experience loading/unloading crates and products
- Good operational understanding of duties in the warehouse environment
- Willingness to work outdoor
- Proven reliability: we need team players who can 100% commit to the role!
- Physically fit and strong: able to perform heavy lifting and other duties on ground level when needed
- Demonstrated skills to work independently and follow procedures at all times
- Reliable transport
