Our Vision is underpinned by our purpose to save lives and reduce uncertainty.Based in Outer North Brisbane, an exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Lead Radiographer to take on a 12-month parental leave position as Area Chief Supervisor. The key function of this role is providing professional and operational leadership to the Outer North Brisbane clinics. Ensuring the delivery of high quality, efficient, professional, and friendly services to patients and referees, and a commercial focus that provides both improved clinical and financial outcomes.
Key accountabilities include:Plan and manage the daily technologist workforce requirements and productivity for 5-6 clinics, ensuring appropriate staff rostering, annual leave planning and managing sick and other leave as requiredManage, develop and mentor technologist staff and provide clinical guidance in the clinicEnsure outstanding service delivery and provide supervision of the day-to-day management of the Medical Imaging departmentProvide quality improvement initiatives, and review and refine work practices to improve clinical and financial outcomesProvide the highest level of patient care possiblePerform routine and specialised medical imaging procedures to the highest professional standards as required
Key selection criteria:Previous experience within a leadership positionCurrent QLD Radiography Radiation licence and professional registrationAppropriate qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology/Diagnostic Medical RadiographyAbility to manage, coach and lead clinic staffDemonstrated ability to perform high quality medical imaging examinations employing correct techniques to the accepted industry standard or aboveExcellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with radiologists, patients, staff and other medical and non-medical personnel verbally and in writing

Covid-19 Vaccination Policy
I-MED has a policy which requires all I-MED staff to be vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 unless they have a valid medical exemption, however each state Public Health Order may have additional requirements, and this will be discussed during the interview process.
