About Our ClientOne of the world's largest mining corporations requires a Business Analyst to be a solution-shaper between the business units, organisational stakeholders, and delivery teams within the program.
Job Description
- Functional and technical requirements gathering that meets the business requirements for a specific business need, or issue.
- Coordination, methodical investigation, analysis, review and documentation for multiple projects within a program of work.
- Act as a channel between the business units, stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to develop a concrete understanding of how the business is currently operating and how these operations can be improved to achieve future business goals.
- Collect and manipulate data from various sources.
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 3 - 5 year's experience in a business analysis role, preferably in a complex program/project environment working in cross-functional (and virtual).
- Strong project management and reporting skills.
- Ability to work in complex organisational environments (i.e. matrix) and with remote teams.
- Ability to plan work to meet deadlines.
- Facilitation skills.
- A keen focus on minimising the impacts that a technology project can have on the end-user experience.
- Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple projects at one time.
- Good negotiation and influencing skills, and confidence to operate at all levels of the business.
- Customer focus and strong understanding of business context.
- Be a self-starter and able to take ownership.
Desirable:
- Security/identity access management experience or exposure
- Experience working within the mining sector
- Power BI experience
