About the opportunity
This is an exciting permanent, full-time role within our People and Culture section which will focus on provision of high level information management processes and in supporting the development and implementation of workforce planning strategic resources and direction.
An ideal candidate will work closely with the Coordinator HR Analytics and Workforce Data to develop, implement and review programs within Councils Workforce Management Plan in partnership with other sections across Council and provide accurate advice to Directors and Managers.
Qualifications and experience
Essential: Degree qualifications in a related field In-depth experience in a similar position with exposure to: workforce planning concepts, Human Resource metrics, data extraction, analysis and evaluation policy/project research, analysis, development and implementation Knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations High level contemporary workforce knowledge, including current best practice initiatives Well-developed computer skills, with demonstrated experience with Human Resource information systems and related applications Class C drivers licence.
Desirable: Previous experience and familiarity with the local government sector.
Remuneration and benefits
The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Councils Enterprise Agreement. Entry level for this position starts at $1,859.80 per week 35 hour working week Opportunity to participate in Council's flextime arrangement Employee benefits such as leave entitlements, 10% employer superannuation contribution payable to Active Superannuation Scheme, Fitness Passport and gym membership discounts, and social clubs.
