Hitachi Rail STS is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our growing team based in Perth office. This is a fantastic opportunity for Payroll Officer with the below specifications..
SpecificationsThis position is responsible for the end to end processing of the Australian Payroll including weekly, monthly, shadow as well as other payroll activities, so ideally you would have been solely responsible for similar;Experience working with multiple large systems is a must. Systems used are Workday, SAP and MicroPay Sage experience in these three systems are highly desirable;You must have extensive working knowledge and experience with Rosters and Manual Calculations;Experience and working knowledge in EOM activities including Payroll Tax;Understanding of overall HR areas and the important touch-points with Payroll e.g. Contracts of Employment and obligations, HR Data integrity, Employment legislation;Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills are mandatory;You must be a methodical with a high attention to detail;The ability to work under pressure and be resilient is essential, as well as the ability to learn quickly and take ownership of the role;You must be solutions focused and collaborative in your approach to resolving issues and conflict;Most importantly we are looking for someone who has the right attitude to contribute and develop, working with a diverse team of professionals in a multinational company.
Education and experienceRelevant tertiary qualifications3 to 5 years experience in Payroll with experience demonstrating skills and abilities in the specifications outlined above.
