The Workforce Planning will support the delivery of the workforce planning function by providing advice to the business units related to planning their workforce and organisational change management strategies and plans to meet current and future organisational objectives.
We are looking for a candidate with demonstrated experience in and/or relevant tertiary qualification with knowledge and understanding of workforce planning, including workforce planning methodologies and workforce strategies.
You will have experience in change management and/or project management / human resource management in a large diverse service industry organisation as well as demonstrated interpersonal relationship management, consultation and negotiation skills including the ability to communicate with influence when presenting workforce insights, risks and recommended strategies to senior leaders and managers.
Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret information, solve problems creatively and achieve business focused HR solutions would also benefit this role. Does this sound like you?
About the opportunity
This position will assist the Manager in the delivery of the workforce planning function, providing support and advice to the organisation, business units and employees on workforce planning and organisational design. The role will lead and manage Workforce Planning Officers.
The role will also be responsible for scoping, planning, and implementing workforce activities and ensure all project priorities are met through integrated organisational change management strategies and plans, resolving any issues arising from the projects in consultation with the Manager.
The role will analyse workforce metrics and conduct and present relevant research and insights (environmental scanning, labour market research, workforce demand and supply analysis and gap analysis) to determine key workforce risks; in partnership with stakeholders, recommend and develop key workforce strategies to address these risks as well as develop and coordinate workforce plans, strategy implementation plans and associated reports; monitor, review and revise workforce plans and strategies to ensure continual alignment with strategic and operational objectives.

Remuneration: Annual salary of $100,107.00 to $118,735.00 (Level 2) or $116,403 to $132,700 (Level 3) (plus 10.5% superannuation and 17.5% annual leave loading)
Hours Per Week: 38
Location: NSW Health Campuses at St Leonards, Parramatta, Newcastle Hybrid working conditions available
